Assistant Professor of Music (Clarinet)

Position Summary:
The College of Fine Arts is seeking qualified candidates to teach as a full-time tenure-track, 9 month Assistant Professor of Clarinet. Salary will be based on degree and experience.
Requirements:Duties and Responsibilities:
Teach applied clarinet, woodwind chamber ensemble, and pedagogy.
Additional teaching duties assigned by department chair which could include, but not limited to, introductory music courses, music education courses, aural skills, and music theory.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Doctorate in Music required. Significant experience in teaching applied clarinet and demonstrated success in student recruitment and retention.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
The chosen candidate will have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills and must be committed to working on a campus that values cultural diversity.
Working Conditions:Physical Demand and Working Conditions:
Work is sedentary in nature that at times requires exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
