The Pathways Internship Program is for current diploma/certificate/degree-seeking students is designed to attract students enrolled in a wide variety of educational institutions (ranging from high school to graduate school) with paid opportunities to work in USDA/NRCS and explore Federal careers while still in school. This program exposes students to
jobs
in the Federal civil service by providing meaningful developmental work while completing their academic requirements.
This program will allow students to gain real, paid work experience while pursuing a college degree and are interested in the Rangeland Management, Soil Conservation and Agronomy career field areas.

is seeking both current students and individuals accepted for enrollment in a qualifying educational program whom are interested in a Student Trainee position in areas such as Soil Conservation, Rangeland Management, and Agronomy. The duties and locations of each area of discipline are designed to provide hands on experience and training for which hired as a Student Trainee.
These positions are located in the following 7 New Mexico areas: Deming, Truth or Consequences, Las Vegas, Raton, Las Cruces, Alamogordo and Portales.
